 Directed Hypnotherapy

In hypnosis your analytical conscious mind has been put aside for a moment and the receptive subconscious mind is more active and open to the suggestions that it receives. In directed hypnotherapy you are guided into a relaxed hypnotic state where the subconscious mind is given positive suggestions. The subconscious mind accepts these as programming and works to make those suggestions a reality for you.

 Non-directed Hypnotherapy

The subconscious mind already has all the answers that you need to address the issue in question. Non directed hypnotherapy taps into this inner knowledge by asking the subconscious mind to reveal information to help heal the particular issue. It may do so by returning to the cause of the problem, or by showing you more information to allow you to re-examine the issue in a new way.

The approach used will depend on the issue in question and your aims. During our first session we will discuss this issue and the best combination of approaches for you.
